Data Deletion Instructions

Effective date: July 13, 2026

You can disconnect individual social accounts at any time, or request permanent deletion of your entire Hooqq account and all associated data. This applies whether you signed up directly or connected via Facebook Login.

1. Disconnect a Facebook Page or Instagram account only

To stop Hooqq from accessing a specific Facebook Page or Instagram Business account without deleting your whole Hooqq account:

• Go to Dashboard → Social Accounts and click Disconnect next to the account — this immediately deletes the stored access token, or
• Go to your Facebook settings under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites), find “Hooqq”, and remove it — this revokes our access from Meta's side immediately

2. Delete your entire Hooqq account and data

To permanently delete your Hooqq account, email hello@hooqq.com from the email address on your account with the subject line “Delete my Hooqq account”. We'll confirm your identity and process the request.

What gets deleted

• Your account, login credentials, and business/payout details
• Your entire product catalog, including uploaded images and videos
• All stored Facebook/Instagram access tokens and connected account records
• Order records tied to your products
• Your public storefront, which is taken offline

Timeline

We process deletion requests within 30 days and will send a confirmation email once it's complete. Some data may be retained briefly beyond that where we're legally required to (for example, billing records needed for tax compliance), after which it is also deleted.
