This Privacy Policy explains what information Hooqq (“Hooqq”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use our storefront and social auto-posting service (the “Service”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have — including how to request deletion of your data.
We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what we receive from Meta (Facebook/Instagram) when you connect an account, and what your storefront visitors submit on your behalf.

Meta (Facebook & Instagram) data
When you click “Connect with Facebook”, Meta asks you to grant specific permissions. We only request what the Service needs to function, and we only act on Pages and Instagram Business accounts you explicitly select:
We store the access token Meta issues for each connected Page/account so the connection keeps working without asking you to re-authenticate every time, along with the Page/account name and ID. We never receive or store your Facebook password.
Buyer / order information
When someone places an order through your public storefront, we collect the buyer's name, email, phone number, an optional message, and an optional payment receipt image, and pass this to you as the shop owner. For this data, you are the one deciding how it is used, and Hooqq acts only as the platform that stores and delivers it to you.
Billing information
Subscription payments are handled entirely by Paystack. We never see or store your full card number — Paystack tokenizes your card and gives us back a customer code, subscription code, and authorization reference we use to manage your subscription.
Usage data
We record basic product view counts on your storefront and standard technical data (such as timestamps and error logs) to keep the Service reliable.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Meta data for advertising.
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Hooqq, under their own privacy and security terms:

We keep your account and catalog data for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect a Facebook Page or Instagram account, we delete the stored access token immediately and stop accessing that account. If you delete your account (see below), we delete your products, images, orders, and connected account records along with it.
You can disconnect any Facebook Page or Instagram account at any time from Dashboard → Social Accounts, which immediately revokes our stored access token for that account. You can also request full deletion of your Hooqq account and all associated data at any time — see our Data Deletion Instructions for how.
Passwords are stored as salted hashes, not plain text. Access tokens and billing identifiers are stored server-side and are never exposed to other users. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all traffic to the Service.
We use a minimal set of cookies required to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Hooqq is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
